Two Legs Four Paws
Two Legs Four Paws is based in Oklahoma, USA and currently serves over 60 animal rescue organizations throughout the state. We are passionate about helping rescues, pet food pantries, TNR programs and the animals in their care.
We are the Oklahoma Ambassador for the GOODS, a program of Greater Good charities. We have partnered with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to assist on distribution days. Thanks to their generosity, we have a central hub to host the interception, storage and distribution of these donations to our approved rescues.
Our Story
Two Legs Four Paws officially started in 2019, but we have been helping pets in need since 1996. Shortly after founder Edy Bauer adopted her rescue collie from a shelter here in Oklahoma, she began volunteering for animal rescues and also started therapy dog training. Through this experience, Edy saw a great need for help in the animal rescue community.
In 2011 Edy had the opportunity to oversee the donations coming to Oklahoma through the Rescue Bank (a program of the Greater Good Charities) and in 2019, the official organization of Two Legs Four Paws was born. Since 2019 we have gained over 60 approved animal rescues, trap-and-release (TNR) groups, and pet pantries across the state of Oklahoma who regularly receive pet food and pet supply donations.
