Last week, Oklahoma animal rescues had one of their biggest donation days ever. Every month, we visit the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank for pet supply distribution days. A typical distribution day consists of anywhere from 40-50 pallets of donated food and supplies. But on this day, we had **115** pallets! And nearly 50 of those pallets were dog beds, thanks to BARK and SKOUT'S HONOR! Two Legs Four Paws is founded and operated by Edy Bauer. Two Legs Four Paws is based in Oklahoma, USA and currently serves over 60 animal rescue organizations throughout the state. They are passionate about helping rescues, pet food pantries, and T&R programs and the animals in their care. Through Two Legs Four Paws, Oklahoma animal rescue organizations are able to get life-saving food & pet supply donations every month. Because of these generous donors, homeless pets in Oklahoma are going to sleep on comfy beds with full bellies tonight! We were able to get 2 pallets of donated dog beds along with lots of dog food, treats, and dental chews for the 70+ huskies in our care! "Rescue Bank grants donated pet food and supplies to smaller, less-visible non-profits that have limited access to resources. They’ve granted more than $30 million in essential supplies to over 300 animal welfare organizations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico." Rescue Bank partners with pet food donors such as Petsmart, Purina, Royal Canin, and Chewy! This is an incredible resource for Husky Halfway House and we are so grateful to have them in our corner!
